La Croisière des Iles d’or » ( Golden Islands Cruise ) is
a 4 days cruise on rowing sea boats (4 rowers) , from La Ciotat (near
Marseille) to La Londe Les Maures on the méditerranean sea, in the south
of France.
Sum up this rowing cruise is not
an easy thing because there is so many attractive stuff to do, to see,
to taste, to hear...on the french riviera. This year the cruise has been organized around the Var Islands (Bendor, Les Embiez, Porquerolles and Port-Cros islands). You will see the Bendor island on the first stage from La Ciotat (near Marseille) to La Seyne-sur-mer. Next, it will be the Porquerolle island, a jewel in the mediterranean sea. The day after you will discover the Port-Cros island, the only "sea" national parc in France. The rowers may participate just for one day, but those who will row during the four days will cruise on 200 kilometers !!! You may observe local wild life (last year some of the rowers have seen dolphins), and you will taste the local food (sea food, "pistou" soup...) >>> |
